Quite a few JJ compilations have been released over the years, but in every case, the record company has just gone ahead without consulting Joe or even informing him about the release. Hence the sometimes strange track selections, awful artwork, and inaccurate liner notes or credits.
Steppin' Out - The A&M Years, 1979-89, just released in the UK, is different: Joe was actually given a fair amount of input in all of those areas. So if you want a single-album snapshot of the first ten years of Joe's career, this is the one to get.
Available via Amazon US and Amazon UK.
